Thank you for expressing interest in the Humble Beast Fitness Company. I would like to welcome you to the HBFC family and I look forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals.

A little bit about myself. My name is Rubin, I have been a certified personal trainer for a couple of years now. I am certified with the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). I realized my passion for fitness at the age of 18 while serving in the US Air Force. In 2014, I was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer. Halfway through chemotherapy treatments my body was attacked with meningitis which put me in the ICU for 8 weeks. Doctors were doubtful that I would survive the battle ahead of me.

During those 8 weeks I was unable to continue my chemo treatments because I was on such a high dose of the strongest antibiotic for meningitis. Despite not receiving any chemo for 8 weeks, my cancer markers continued to drop. Doctors were amazed by the healing that was taking place in my body at the time and my oncologist even said to me, “God is on your side!”

My cancer/meningitis journey lasted for almost two years. During that time I endured multiple hospital stays, 54 spinal taps, 5 surgeries including 1 minor brain surgery, and 2 seizures.

It is only by God’s grace and mercy that I was able to overcome this obstacle. This trial humbled me and put life into perspective. It was this trial that opened my eyes to see that my purpose in life is to encourage, inspire, and impact individuals not only physically, but mentally, and spiritually as well.

It is my goal to help my clients become healthy and whole from the inside out. It would be an honor to work with you. I hope to see you soon!
